Join us for a family friendly bike event in support of a safe and direct east-west cycling route for North Evanston. A neighborhood greenway along Lincoln and Harrison Streets would connect Central St businesses, schools, Metra and CTA stations, parks, Northwestern University, the new Ryan Field, the Sheridan Road protected bike lanes, and the Old Orchard, Channel and Lakefront Trails.
9:30 am gather at Long Field with your bicycles! (Orrington + Lincoln)
10:00 am roll-out for a ride along the proposed Lincoln-Harrison Greenway
10:45/11:00 am reconnect at Independence Park to identify how we can continue working together to make the Lincoln-Harrison Greenway a reality!
